Lazy day in ABQ

The Sandia mountains/Rio Grande

Harlan doesn’t need his laptop this afternoon, so I’ve taken control of it until he takes it back. The resort is nice but there isn’t a lot to do while he is busy.  The magazines I’ve been enjoying are nice but I am excited to have a little time in cyberspace.  It is a pain to type on my beloved iPHONE, ya dig?

I’m liking ABQ a lot more this go around – feeling a bit more oriented and the weather is far better than it was in December 🙂  It is really pretty!  Still, a little hard to conceptualize living here someday  and not in the Pacific NW that I’ve grown to consider home (lived in Seattle area since 1995).  We checked out houses yesterday for fun and it was quite the head trip, considering the possibilities and eventual reality of it all.

It would probably help to check out some yoga studios but so far I’ve been reluctant to drive the rental car into town.  I’m a total chicken driving where I’m not oriented 🙁  But tomorrow I’m going to force myself to do just that.  I’ve been doing personal practice in the hotel room but am craving an actual class.

Have a beautiful day!
