#letsgetflexy Day 8 – Sundial



Sundial is an advanced pose that we sometimes practice in Yang Yoga at The Ashram. Don’t be bummed if you can’t get into it, I’ve been working on this one for years. J


  • Lengthens the hamstrings and calves.
  • Hip opening. Great prep for Bird of Paradise
  • Stretches the intercostals and shoulder of the upper arm.

Teaching my little yoga class at IDRI this morning. Glad. Rumor has it that the space is in the process of being rented out. That means no more yoga at IDRI. I will miss that class, learning how to improvise with newer students – in that strange office space. I’ve learned a lot as a teacher in this endeavor and I am grateful. I like to see people getting stronger, trying cooler and cooler postures.

I have been listening to my Justin Timberlake Pandora Radio Station a whole heck of a lot lately.  It is definitely expanding my musical world.  Here’s my offering to you, at 4 a.m. 🙂
