Friday, blessed be

I am incredibly glad it is Friday.  Teacher training weekend 4 :), the time is sure to fly.  I had better brush up on my Sanskrit over lunch or I’m doomed.  I do pretty well with language, so I’m not overly concerned.  I do enjoy calling out the poses in Sanskrit, but I always translate, a lot of people struggle with Sanskrit.  My Achille’s heel is math, so I respect strengths and weaknesses.

I haven’t taken my shot for #healinghearts yet today.  Here is the pose, taken for a different challenge:

It is one of my most challenging poses, I need to be quite warmed up if I’m to hope to get near this.  I suppose I could always post this picture if I’m incapable of performing a handstand today (some days are like that for me!).  But I feel that would be cheating on some level.  So I will try and take the shot when I go to The Ashram this morning.

I teach at 6:15 a..m, exactly 2 hours from now and my heart is singing along with Earth, Wind and Fire (Let’s Groove). I feel like putting a lot of flow into it, not terribly long holds, but lots of B series and movement.  Extra stretching.  It is Friday, it has been a long weekend.  Wanna heal and recharge for a great weekend!

Must meditate.  Hopefully in a few hours I’ll have a beatiful new scorpion handstand to post… I may not!  But I will have fun trying and I’m sure it will warm me up.
