Drishti

Scarlett the Prius wanted a vanity plate.  I have never bought one for a car before, but she is a very special car…

Here you go

If you don’t know that that means, that’s cool.  I’m not surprised and I chose it for that reason.  Drishti is a Sanskrit word that comes from yoga. The practice of Drishti is a gazing technique that develops concentration and teaches you to see the world as it really is. In yoga, drishti is a point of focus where the gaze rests during a posture and meditation practice–gazing outward while bringing awareness inward.

I’m exceedingly pleased that the state has granted Scarlett this honor, you never know what might be deemed unacceptable. Yay.

In other news, here is my #yogagivesbackchallenge shot of the day.  I was pretty scared to try it, it is an arm variation that I have never tried, figured it would end in a back flop.  It did not, and I’ll be definitely practicing more of it.  Thank you @kinoyoga and @beachyogagirl 🙂
