I realized this morning while checking students in that someone has left a comment for my class. I’ve gotta share it, it made me so damn happy that I am still smiling.
“Theresa’s class rocked this morning. I FINALLY am able to practice the following poses: standing bow, crow, side-crow, mermaid and ALMOST bird thanks to her guidance and the help of fellow students cheering me on. It’s so empowering to reach these goals, if even for a second. Thank you and namsate.”
I don’t know who left this comment but I think it has made 2016 worthwhile already. Thank YOU from the bottom of my heart.
Ok, so I love when I can personally pull off a cool pose 🙂 Probably the think I love most about myself is my flexibility in my middle age (which is totally ego, working on it).
But I want to emphasize that I am equally thrilled to assist anyone, in anyway, of attaining more advanced postures, of helping them accomplish things that they never thought possible, if even for a nanosecond. It makes me so happy to see people empowering themselves. It is the best feeling to do something you NEVER thought possible, that you RULED out. If my cues can make that happen, that is so cool.
The picture below is taken at Sunport back in August when I was getting ready to visit Seattle. I want to visit so damn bad it hurts. But the new PIMA schedule for this quarter virtually destroys any plans. Whatever. Just Try and make me miss my son’s graduation this Spring. I am perfectly willing to flunk of out school if I can’t be there .
