Ok, I guess that they are actually “mannequins” now. I am in no way making fun of CPR, we were just on a brief break and I am always looking for unusual backdrops…..
My arms are actually somewhat sore from CPR class. I cannot fathom the stress of the real situation nor how tired you would get performing CPR within just a few minutes. I am glad to have had a refresher on it.
Oh, I also got 100% on my OSHA/Bloodborne Pathogens test. I counted it as the 10th time I’ve take such a test. I wish I had taken the quiz at the end without looking at the reading material whatsoever. I am pretty flipping confident that I would have gotten them all right, outright. I guess the instructor would have been cool with that. But it was sorta fun thinking about bloodborne pathogens and OPIMs. I don’t miss being a infectious disease researcher whatsoever…. but I continue to be fascinated by infectious agents. Except Donald Trump. I’d rather work in a BL3 lab than listen to one of his speeches.
Anyway, back to my CPR break fun. I hope that school doesn’t get pissed at me for this one. Our clinical ed director discussed how easily you can piss off an institution with your social media-izing. But I think I am on the good side of the line.
I haven’t been on my mat in several days, it has been too busy with school this week. Next week will be even more stressful as I have 3 written midterms and a combined lab practical involving bed/wheelchair transfers/kinesiology topics/therapeutic exercises. I’m not so into hospital/SNF work. I really want to stick to out-patient and/or sports rehab. But you can bet, wherever I go, there will always be yoga. 🙂
