Well, I won’t be making the challenge – I only had time to take one class while I was on my trip to MN. And while I did yoga every day, I didn’t do a class worth of it, nor did I sequence a true practice. I will definitely do a double today, can’t wait to get there. I’m disappointed with myself for not making it but traveling and Romeo’s sickness were obstacles along the path.
The Ashram is extending the challenge to 60/60. I’m seriously considering it – that way even if I don’t make the first 30 I could make up for it in the second half. Hmmmmm. I really want to….but still on the fence.
Freshly home from Davin’s 10 a.m. Yang class at The Ashram. Feel like a billion bucks on this beautiful day in Bothell WA! It was a fantastic class, the high point for me was working on Dragonfly (below)
Here’s some shots my friend Trina was kind enough to take prior to class. I wish I’d done a little video while there but maybe later….
I’ve got a moderate head cold. I won’t bore you with the details apart from it made me leave work early yesterday and by 7 p.m. I couldn’t keep my eyes open. I haven’t been sick in some time so I’ll try and not bitch about it.
My plan was to do two classes back to back tonight as I can’t take class tomorrow or Thursday (teaching, which doesn’t count). But plans change, it is more important that I get my butt into bed early I think. I will have time to do doubles once my immune system has cleared this bug.
It is never fun being sick but I find it extra bothersome when the weather is incredible. Hard to fully enjoy the day that I’ve been blessed with.
Just remembered that I haven’t yet meditated today, which is the other part of this challenge that I haven’t been so good about. Bummer, since getting back on the meditation horse is the other aspect of May’s happiness project. So maybe that is what I should be focusing on tonight. Meditate on my immune system beating this unwelcome intruder.
