Eka Pada Raja Kapotasana

I did a whole lot of this pose yesterday.  I think it is one of the prettiest yoga poses but boy you gotta warm up properly before attempting to do it.  I have to admit my back muscles feel a bit sore today, but in a good way.  Today’s #letsgetflexyin2015 pose is Wheel Pose, the quintessential backbend. I’m already thinking about where I could shoot it. I’ll probably go with the upstairs landing before we walk the dogs.  But I’m no where ready to start backbending – it is only 5:30 a.m. 🙂

I’m happy enough with the one I chose to post but here are a couple of others. I also include an uttanasana and a firefly for your viewing pleasure.

I don’t have to think about science until 9 a.m Friday morning and I am grateful.  I will be teaching Power at 6:15 am and Yin at 7:45 p.m. which makes me Happy!
